This is a multi cache using bearing and distance as directions
to the next point. All bearings are relative to magnetic north with
a declination of 13degE from true north.
Most GPS units will not have the required accuracy to use the
project waypoint function to follow the clues in this cache.
Therefore some thought may be required as to the best way to find
each waypoint.
The cache is a Plastic tupperware type container approximately
30cmx20cm. Please be careful to not be observed retrieving or
replacing the cache and to ensure it is hidden well when you leave,
as the area is fairly heavily used by walkers.
1st Waypoint: This waypoint is located at the
co-ordinates listed for this cache. To find the next waypoint: The
number of handles on this apparatus = A. The next waypoint is 179m
away on a bearing of 13xA + 2 degrees.
2nd waypoint: At the Second Waypoint find a 5 digit
number whose digits (BCDEF) added up are 27. The next waypoint is
239m away on a bearing of 2xB + 8xC + 3xD + 2xE + F degrees.
3rd waypoint: Find a sign on a post. G = the number of
letters in the longest word on the sign that is in a sentence
dealing with transport. The next waypoint is 443m away bearing 11xG
- 91 degrees.
4th waypoint: Another sign. H = the date of the utilities
act. The next waypoint is 181m away on a bearing of H/5 - 20xA +
C/2 degrees.
5th waypoint: From the centre of this structure the final
cache location is H/40 - 15m away on a bearing of 12.5xB
degrees.
The clue at the 3rd waypoint has been clarified (26/7/2004
