Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden on undeveloped land used for public recreation on Lake Norman.

Easiest access to this cache is by boat. It is near a small island (formerly "Cacheaway Island" which was archived due to MIA status.) Occasionally campers occupy the area closest to the water, but cache is set further back to avoid detection.

Cache can also be accessed by road - park at N35 37.297 W080 57.390 and hike about .6 mile on a four-wheel trail, fairly level ground.

Cache is hidden in a plastic container.
