This cache is located near a large tower along a dirt road just outside of town. The tower itself acts as a relay for one of the local oldie stations and also assists in repeating some cell phone signals.
The tower itself is constructed of solid metal (no hollow pipes) and weighs approximately 14,000 pounds. It is held in place by a series of cables. These cables range from 3/4" to 7/8" in diameter.
When placing this cache, there was a gentleman at the top of the tower replacing one of the beacon lights. Personally, I wouldn't want that job, but I could understand the thrill some people get out of it!
You are looking for a small container covered in camo-tape. We have permission from the landowner to place this cache here, but nevertheless, you do not have to cross the fence (and enter the property) in order to retrieve it.
