Geocache Description:


Cache is in the Shingleroof Campground near the natural spring that flows out into a small stream. This one is kid-friendly and does not require any hiking into brush. Cache is a ammo box filled with swag, located just off an established trail. Location is on private property, however, it is open to the public and cache was placed with the land owner's permission. Enjoy this easy, but satisfying hunt.

Come and enjoy the history-rich site of the annual United Methodist Camp Meeting that takes place each Summer. This has been an annual tradition since 1831. Consider using the gazebos or the spring house for meditation or prayer while you are there.
