To find this cache, you will be taking a delightful walk on a little loop trail in front of the St. Francis House, a retirement home to a small social/animal trail deeper into the woods. The loop trail It is a well-marked trail made for retirees, and is not difficult to walk. There are railings all along the loop that zig-zags up and down hill. When the main trail turns into a dirt trail, look for a small social/animal trail to continue your journey.
Approved parking is at N 47º 03.307 W 122º 50.870, just inside the entrance road to St. Francis House. Park near the St. Francis House Garden and stroll through it, enjoying the gardens on your way to the gazebo where the trail starts by crossing a bridge at approximately N 47º 03.340 W 122º 50.897. Locate the cache by looking for and taking a social/animal trail (without railings) off the main loop trail. The cache is off that trail and can be found easily by using the hint if satellite readings are jumpy. Walk out by continuing along the path, which will take you right back to where you parked your car.
