This is cache is placed by a group of kids form Fort Richardson that enjoy the outdoors.
This cache is located on a section of the river that changed course durning a flood about 6 years ago. It is also a great place to stop and have lunch while foating down the river. Start your float trip at mile marker 7.4 and make sure that you have a safe float. Wear your PFD and be aware of the wildlife, bears are frequent in the area. And please pick up any trash that you might come across. Be careful the upper portion of this river is known to eat canoes.Take out is located at the Highlind Bridge. Do not pass this take out point unless you are a class III rapids boater.
