TRUROKR: 16 years! It had a good run, but I have made the 3-5 hour drive one way too many times just to replace this.

Just so I'm clear, regarding Thank You San Diego, you have found the cache previously, then went back to the site again and confirmed it missing? There is mention of branches that were cut down. Is it possible that the cache is amongst those? My biggest concern here are the travel bugs that are logged into the cache. I would hate to mark them as missing if they are still actually there. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I went back because I saw many DNF logs. It was not there I looked all around and nothing. Must be missing. The TB’s I don’t know about

Geocache Description:

Oz and I had this great idea to do a guys weekend away from home. Strip clubs and beer drinking? Heck no!! We spent the whole weekend caching in and around the beautiful town of San Diego. While we didn't post large numbers as far as finds go, that was fine with us. We are not numbers type people anyways. We found about forty caches, and of those, we felt that the cache that is very near here provided the best view. So come on over and enjoy the view. It's just our way of saying thanks for giving us such a great weekend. As with all good caches there is no bushwhacking. Follow the main trail and then pick up the little spur trail for about 40 or 50 feet. This is a hanging, camouflaged cito container. The bush it is in has very sparse vegetation right now. When replacing, please make sure the container is not visible to the average passerby. Thank you.
