Bouncy Bunny's Quest for Paradise

After seeing the many wonderful water falls which Ontario has to offer, Bouncy Bunny thought she needed some more adventure. She met up with her friends Dufus Dog and Kitty Cat and headed off for a day long geocaching adventure. First they were confronted by a river crossing near the top of a waterfall. They knew the cache was just on the other side. Bouncy Bunny dug in her backpack and pulled out a couple of items. Should they use the rope which she had nicely rolled around a can or the blow-up raft. “Of our past experiences, we may have to use a combination of both,” suggested Kitty Cat. With reeds filling several portions of the river, they also had to make sure that their rope did not get tangled in the reeds. “What if our rope is not strong enough?” asked Dufus Dog. “It’s a Nexus IXC version B rope,” replied Bouncy Bunny. “Nexus IXC? Didn’t I hear about some of those breaking?” asked Dufus Dog with a worried look on his face. “Yes, that was the older model, this is the new improved IXC version B, although I did hear that they will be coming out with a version E next year,” replied Bouncy Bunny. Bouncy Bunny suggested that Dufus eventually buys an E version when they come out, for their next adventure.

So they prepared the raft and the rope. “First we stand back and pray that we have a safe crossing of this river and that we don’t go over the falls. Even the most careful of geocachers have mishaps from time to time,” said Bouncy Bunny. When I need to be careful, I always am,” said Kitty Cat. They had spent quite a bit of time deciding and preparing the safest traversal of the river, and as the day went on a misty haze rolled across the area, from the falls. To be completely safe, they decided to cross the river individually, so Dufus Dog went first, since he was the strongest paddler. When he got across, he tied part of the rope to a rock on the bank, and the others pulled the raft back to their side. “Ok, who’s next,” yelled Dufus Dog across the river. “Can I next?” asked Kitty Cat, so she went across next. They all made it across the river safely and on the other side they found their own little paradise. What an adventure this was and a beautiful area. They thought that perhaps they could return here on New Years Eve next time and have a nice celebration. “I hope that if our adventures bring us to all these neat and wonderful places, that we can have a celebration each year at a different spot,” exclaimed Bouncy Bunny. They were so impressed by this wonderful location, that they almost forgot about the geocache that they wanted to find. The location definitely was the prize in this instance.
