Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache and because the Cache Owner has not been online since 2008. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

The Mineral Creek Cache is within 400 feet of the dirt road leading up Mineral Creek Canyon from Valdez, Alaska. The cache will be under snow from October to May. A short, uphill climb will be necessary to find the cache.

The Mineral Creek Cache is a smallish yellow water-tight container. Actually it was designed to hold a GPS unit, but mine doesn't fit into it. I placed 2 AA batteries inside, along with a magnifying glass and a set of small folding pliers. -- handy equipment for a camper or Geocacher. Stay close to the trail. When you are on top of a knoll with small meadows below on your left and your right, you are quite close. After you find the cache, go on up the road for spectacular waterfall viewing.
