Geocache Description:

Freshwater meets saltwater at Lepreau Falls.

From Saint John, take Highway 1 West to Lepreau. Leave the highway at Exit 86. At the stop sign turn left and drive south on Hwy 790. After 1km turn right onto Hwy 795 west. Follow the signs to Lepreau Falls. Just before the bridge, turn left onto the Lepreau Falls Rd and travel 500m to the Provincial Park. Once you’re in the Park park by the picnic tables and walk to the cache. Cache container is a plastic bottle covered in camo tape. GPSr WAAS accuracy was 3.2m when the cache was stashed. Enjoy the scenary!

There are observation decks for viewing the falls and unofficial side trails down to the river. According to the NB Waterfall website Lepreau Falls has a vertical drop of 20 feet.
