: Many thanks to chrono81 for his maintenance
of the cache! I hadn't realised that this is now the oldest cache in the Tarn
- 13 years old!
This cache is placed at the top of a hill. There are two methods of getting to it, either you can drive to the top (tarmac track) or park at the bottom of the hill and walk up (along the track, some steep parts). The first option requires you to walk almost no distance; the second is about 0.7 miles (but up hill). The cache itself is on the edge of a small patch of woodland. If you walk through the woodland to the hillside, you have an amazing view of the surrounding country side.

While in the area have a look at the beautiful old town of Lautrec (7KM away) - its well worth the visit. You can climb to the top of the town and look down on it from the windmill that was used for making oil.
Jiheffe has visited and points out that you will probably have to walk around the field to get to it from the parking spot almost all year round (unless you want to get muddy or damage crops).
Update 2005-06-27: Converted coordinates to MinDec format instead of DegDec as requested.
