Geocache Description:

Located within the Gallows Pond Preserve in Plymouth, MA. This cache hunt starts near the shore of Gallows Pond and ends near an all but forgotten cemetery.

The container is a 40 ounce plastic peanut butter jar. There are probably several routes to find your way to the cache. The path posted will provide you with a nice hike over a few trails. From Mast Road, at the extreme north end of Halfway pond, take Gallows Pond Road. Park at 41° 51.581'N, 070° 36.761'W. The Cemetery (what's left of it) is off the trail about 75 feet.I found the cemetery accidentally during a geocache scouting expedition. I couldn't pass it up.This area, known as the Six Ponds Area, has a rich history. I hope to post more on this at a later date.Enjoy the hike!
