This is a wetlands area so when visiting the area it pays to have plenty of mossie repellent and cover up.
Please Note:
The cache has been moved to 24m SE of the fourth tag, as the original location has become to hard to get to.
Use the last tag (No 4) as a reference point only, the co-ords on the last tag will take you to the old cache site.
This area was used as a outpost of the Kojonup Police Station from 1865-1870. It was the original campsite of the first Pensioner Guards (early police) in the Katanning district. Lots of bird life including the grey teal, white faced heron, red capped and scarlet robins. Have fun.
