Geocache Description:

A nice hike in a little jewel of a park in the northwest corner of the San Fernando Valley.

Santa Susana Pass State Historical Park entrance located at: Chatsworth Park South 22360 Devonshire St.

Occasional horse traffic, a few mountain bikers and hikers - so lots of critters can be seen especially at dusk. Coyote, skunk, road runner, owl, red-tail hawks, peregrine falcon (yes!) and various stink bugs, lizards and snakes. The site location has a great view of the valley on a clear day or night. There is a natural rocky overlook just off of an existing trail that hides a plastic container wrapped in duct tape.
