Located in Wayne National Forest northwest of Newport, Ohio, this really is a natural bridge and that alone makes the trip worth going.
From Route 7 approximately 3.2 miles north of Newport turn west on Archer's Fork. Follow Archer's Fork to Upper Archer's Fork and turn right. Travel about 3.8 miles to a split in the road and turn left across the creek ford. Turn left up the Forest Service road (dirt)and go 0.4 mile. (This dirt road requires higher clearance. Four wheel drive is not necessary unless it is wet, but you may want to walk this part.) The trail marked by blue and white diamonds crosses the road here. Follow it to the natural bridge. I was able to pick up 6-8 satellites at the cache, but accuracy changes.
YOU REALLY MUST GO SEE THE BRIDGE. TAKE A PICNIC AND A BLANKET.
**CACHEPOORCOUPLE REPORTS THAT THE CACHE IS STILL INTACT, BUT HAS APPARENTLY BEEN MUGGLED. I WILL TRY TO GET TO IT FOR MAINTENANCE THIS WEEKEND--REDFORD (09/11/08)
