The road is a little rocky, and a high clearance vehicle might be the best mode of transportation.
There don't seem to be many caches along I-80 between Winnemucca and Elko, so we decided to place one here. This area along the Humboldt River was a route for travelers in the 1800's and was also part of a 4,000 acre ranch belonging to Frank Button, therefore the name Button Point.Cache is in an ammo box and when placed contained a Michael Crichton Boook, a quartz clock, toy 1957 Corvette, Winsor Collection house, matchbox boat and a little rabbit.
