Geocache Description:

The old rocket blasted off, the new one is on the pad. This cache is located in a city park. There are a couple places to park. If you park at the correct location it is an easy walk on flat terrain. Other wise it is across the park and and over the bridge and through the woods. If you can see the rocket you did not park a the best location.

Many called this park Rocket Park because there was a tall rocket jungle gym/slide in the play ground. April 2006 the orignal rocket was removed. This rocket was the center piece of the park. There is even a local band called "Rocket Park" after the slang name for the park. A replacement rocket has now been added, check it out. Please add your memories about the rocket in your logs.
The cache is a 3 X 4 X 8 inch clear plastic container.
When it snows bring a sled and try out the hill, if you dare.

This is the first cache I placed.

Note: There is a Letterbox located within 50 feet of this cache. Don't be confused, Rocket Park cash is labeled.
