Geocache Description:

This cache is along the Col. Bob trail. The trail is covered pretty well at this cache page, A Salute to Col Bob

This spot is a place I have camped before. It is a good place to rest and recuperate from your hike up. There are many good places to camp all around here as the many trails testify to. It is also the only source of running water.

Come for a day hike or come for an overnighter. But take time to explore the stream, the upper reaches of Fletcher Canyon and of course Col. Bob, the main reason to come here in the first place.

As you crest the ridge on the way to Col. Bob you will get a spectacular view of the Olympics and below on the north side of the ridge you can usually find some snow into August for a snow ball fight!

There is a water filter pump in the cache to be used to refill your water supply. Please leave it in the cache for others to use. Put the output hose back into the baggy to keep it from getting contaminated by the input hose.
