Geocache Description:

On Devil's Backbone Trail in Warriors Path State Park. Follow the blue blazes.

Warriors Path State Park is a well-managed, heavily-used facility. This cache (now a white quart round plastic bottle) is located on the Devil’s Backbone Trail and is covered by Tennessee Division of State Parks “Organized Event Policy” with annual renewals. It originally took over 13 months to obtain as the TN state managers were still defining their protocol all during 2003. Park at N36/30.159, W82/28.972, which is beside the 17th tee for the golf course. The trailhead can be seen behind the tee just down the hill across wooden footbridge. Follow the light blue-blazed trail. The cache location should be obvious. Please replace the container so that it cannot be easily seen. As a CITO, please haul out any trash that you find in order to do a Scout's "Good Turn". The trail continues on around the lake. Some views can be seen up by the top at the 5th tee. Permit approved for 2014 by TN park system.
