Geocache Description:

Cache is located in a park. It is in a 1 litre container.

Cache is now in a NEW location! Position has been updated above. The walk to this cache is a fairly easy one. The short walk has a small climb but the trails are in great shape. There are also picnic tables and a network of trails, so it is a good spot to spend a few hours, if you have the time. Cache is in a seasonal park so be prepared to walk a bit further in the off season, when the gates are closed to car traffic. Park gates also close at dusk. If you continue your walk to the beach, it is a great spot to find fossils. Signs at an open-air interpretive centre between the parking lot and the beach provide a commentary on some of the fossils in the area. The rocks here offer a fascinating window to life on Earth from 448 to 401 million years ago. One of North America's most continuously exposed sections of Silurian rock is found here. We hope you enjoy your visit to our cache and the rest of the park. Starting contents were, rain poncho, mosquito net, dice, hair clips, toy dino, velcro straps, flag tape, biners etc. Cache is pretty well concealed, try to put it back in the same location. The cache was already plundered in it's previous location.
