This is our second cache in The Frederick S. Weston Forest. Note the alternate parking coordinates from our first cache, if you want a shorter walk.
This 220 acre forest was bequeathed to the town in 1967 by the late Frederick Weston. Recently the trails have been re-cleared. There's a picnic spot too. This alternate parking entrance has wider trails than our other cache in this same forest. Keep you ears open for horses, as we've seen signs that they have been there recently. This cache is in an ammo box, filled with the regular goodies and a log book. In addition, we have placed a first to find prize in it, so make sure to look for it if you're the first person to sign in.
Winter Note: I was hoping that this cache would be accessible year round due to where we hid it. However, we discovered this winter that they don't plow out the parking lot.
