There is not an attribute for fire ants - so I clicked on the Ticks attribute! The fire ants love this site. Wheel chairs can even come here! No other hazards. Easy walk from parking right next to cache area. No Muggles - everyone here has been in on placing the cache and welcomes you to come to their property!
This is my first ever cache. I volunteered to work at the facility and have received much interest from the participants about caching. They encouraged me to place the cache, and they will help maintain it when I am absent. We decided on an easy "lunch hour" cache, with plenty of room for travel bugs. I will even start it out with my "Dog - Gone" T.B.. The director donated some mini "CARE" bears to put in with the log book. We would also welcome any visitors to tour the CARE Center if they have time (it is open every day from 7:30 - 5:30, but there are people to tour you even after those hours. The CARE facility is a respite for RVers who for whatever reason need to take time out from their RV travels. Here they can get assistance with meals, a place to live in their RV, and transportation and medical assistance.
