There are some places in the Britain where the 20th century has seemingly passed them by. This is one. It's a taste of Britain in 1908.
The coordinates are actually for the NOTICE, and when you have read its interesting snapshot of life in 1908, you will need to reset your coordinates to
N 53 15.451 W 003 59.075
These will take to you to the cache itself, not far away from the notice, in a camouflaged plastic box.
While you are here, your kids may like to check out the swings, slides, playground, paddling pool, and boating pond, while you rest your geocaching-weary legs in the Sun Shelter.
You can start or end your visit at the Beach Pavilion - a wonderful wooden building with art deco iron pillars supporting the roof. Once a seaside theatre, it now serves teas and cakes.
Or you can take a picnic and view the Bird Sanctuary. If you really want to play the part, search for the cache wearing a top hat or a crinoline dress. Probably no one will notice!
