You'll get high finding this riverside cache. 3/4
This cache is a few minutes' walk from a very popular spot on the Pecos River in northern New Mexico. Because of its proximity to crowds, it's off the beaten path and well-hidden. The cache, a clear plastic box with a blue lid, contains seven fishing flies (#16 Royal Wulff, #18 Little Brown Fly, #14 Light Cahill, #16 CDC Elk Hair Caddis (olive), #10 Whitlock Squirrel Nymph, #14 Hare's Ear Nymph, and a #16 Muskrat Nymph), a logbook, a pencil, and a pen. There's also the "Fish N' Fly" Travel Bug TBGYWC (it likes to visit fishing sites, especially trout streams). Oh yes, there's also a $20 bill for the first-to-find (FTF). Start on the trailhead at N 35° 41.790', W 105° 41.310', and proceed from there. Note: these are NOT the cache coordinates; you must go up the trail to the cache site. Good hunting! => Please be careful bringing young children to this rocky site. <= This cache was inspired by Pecos Cream Puff by Nukemaster (GCJJWQ) and the bushwhackers at the ATSF get-together (GCK2JY).
