Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache and because the Cache Owner has not been online since April 2016. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located about 40 miles north of downtown Juneau, Alaska. The search for this cache will take you to one of my most favorite easy trails in Juneau. It passes through a large open meadow, which ignites with thousands of blooming wildflowers in July and is tucked by fluffy snow in the winter, perfect for cross-country skiing!

The Point Bridget Trail starts near the end of the road, 40+ miles north of Juneau. In about half a mile from the trail head, the trail splits and you can take a side trail (on the right) that parrallels the main trail, but runs through the meadow. These two trails eventually join again just before reaching the first cabin. You are guaranteed to enjoy hiking through aromatic, tall grasses of the meadow. After passing the first cabin, continue to the beach, staying on the trail that leads towards the second cabin.

The cache was meant to be an easy find, with minimal searching. When taking the coordinates of the cache, my error was about 50 feet.

When searching for this cache, watch out for an Alaskan species of crocodiles. Enjoy the trinkets in the cache, but please do not leave any religious articles.
