Many trails cut thru these woods but this cache is off the beaten trail somewhat.
This is my first hidden cache. These woods were my playground when I was a kid growing up in the 50's. Many enjoyable days were spent building forts, playing "ditch", (hide and seek)climbing trees, etc. I remembered a small tree that had split a big rock in two and was growing between the halves. I found that rock and tree again and although the tree is much much bigger, the rock hasn't grown at all--just split further apart! Camouflaged- taped peanut butter jar. Please log in on the enclosed paper and I hope you enjoy the hunt. As of December 15th, 2004 this cache has been found over 50 times, according to the log sheet. Had to put in a new log sheet. Jimbo
