Fort Bayard Game Reserve, Easy Grass Terrain, 6165 ft
This is our first cache.It is placed on the Fort Bayard game reserve. It is easy to access by taking Hwy 180 to Old Arenas Valley Rd and driving approx 2miles to the reserve parking lot where there is ampell parking and a gate that will allow you to enter the reserve. At the beginning of the trail head " 32 47.696n 108.11.037w " take sawmill tr #243 .13 mile to " 32 47.804n 108 10.999w " take right hand trail to pond. The cache contains :4 small american flags, 3 hot wheel toys, 1 waterproof match container, 1 3pc camping utensil set 1 stuffed animal1 pinwheel, 2 hatpins ,1 camo ball cap, 1 homemade doll and Travel Bug Bear from the Big Blue house have fun and good luck!
