Big Tree!!! Traditional Cache

I was shown this Big Tree while hunting for elk in this area in the 1970's. I was amazed at the size of the tree and thought that other cachers would also enjoy seeing Big Tree!!! It took me about 30 years and 3 times to relocate Big Tree!!! Which is how I got my name, 3rd times the charm. The area is forested, with a creek crossing,and skid roads. It's a short uphill walk off the skid road to the tree.
From Highway 202 (Nehalem Hwy), at Jewell, turn North onto Beneke Road. Follow Beneke Road to the bridge and turn right. Continue on the main road to the parking area. N45 59.654 W 123 28.029. Cross the creek where the old bridge used to be and take the first spur road to the right. Continue on the spur road to the Big Tree!!!
The cache is a 30 cal. ammo can with log book, pencil, ink pen, and lots of trading things.
