Geocache Description:

This is an easy roadside cache by a historical location.

This is a special spot along Highway 2. It is a couple of ancient rocks that look very much like sleeping buffalo. They were even carved on by Indians to more closely look like bison. They were moved to this area to be viewed. They are usually covered with tobacco, cigarettes, cloth or other things but these are gifts to their God not litter, please do not disturb these gifts. Leave a gift if you like and say a prayer to God at this sacred spot.
On July 16, 2007 I saw a 6-point Bull Elk in full velvet crossing the Highway three miles west of this cache so you never know what you will see here!
The misquitoes here are both terrible and legendary in the summer months! You've been warned!
