This is my first hide.The cache is a green ammo can.Contents include:

Pencil pouch

"binky" travel bug
Apparently, this is part of the old Middle Creek stage coach road , the road which a Weaverville stage coach was traveling when it was suddenly ambushed by John and Charles Ruggles. After killing the guard Amos “Buck” Montgomery they took about $5000 in Gold and coin. Legend has it that John Ruggles hid the gold in Middle Creek, but has never been recovered. Now that would be a cache!
