Geocache Description:

September 7th, 2004
7:00PM - 9:00PM

Are you a PREMIUM MEMBER and own a
Palm Pilot, Pocket PC, or LAPTOP?

Welcome to the NEXT level of Geocaching!

Membership has its privledges and they come in the form of .LOC and .GPX files!

Using programs like:

EasyGPS
Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK)
GPX Spinner
Plucker

and others, you can upload coordinates directly into your GPSr or overlay a list of caches on maps in your Palm or PC.

We'll talk briefly about the .LOC and .GPX files and do a short PowerPoint demo on the different applications available for the PC, MAC, Palm, and Pocket PC. Then we will open the floor to questions and let people split off into groups to get actual hands on training with the pros!

Bring your Palm, Pocket PC, Laptop, and GPSr! Don't forget your data cable!
Download the software here, or by clicking on any of the specific file names above and we'll help you set it up!

I have reserved the PRIVATE conference room at the Corporate Headquarters for Carl's Jr. Inc. It's in the restaurant and is used for training managers. Come early and get yourself something to eat! FREE REFILLS TOO!
