Geocache Description:

Martin, Lynn and Maddie (Team Mady) and Jim Stabler invite all Shropshire Cachers to a cache bash and barbecue on Sep 5th 2004 starting at noon on that day. Of course, all other cachers are welcome.

This cache is open to all comers as mentioned above.

A souvenir cache will be launched on that day for all who attend. Cache sheets will be handed out on the day. The following day this will be posted for all in the usual manner.

An unpublished 'children's cache' will also be placed close to the venue to provide an opportunity for them to have a little fun on their own. (Within sight of the venue)

The site is dog friendly.

The barbecue will be on a BYO basis. We will supply the grills etc.(although if you can bring a grill please do so). Please bring your own meat etc. and drinks as required. This is not a pub location :)

Some seating is available but, if you have any folding lawn chairs etc. that would also be a great help.

Toilet facilities will also be available.

A small marquee will be set up for shelter in case of rain etc.

Parking will be at the car park at N 52 51.984 W 003 06.131

This is only 0.15m from the event. If you are bringing any heavy items you can drive right up to the venue to drop them off but as parking there is extremely limited we ask that you use the car park during the event.

There are also two other caches available fairly close to the venue. These are

Offa the Beaten Path and A Little Offa Course

Research will show that there a quite a number of others in the local area.
