Welcome to SC - The I77S Travel Bug Motel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

tmouse: Sorry to have to pull this one but seems to be the best bet at this time. I will hopefully find a safer location and start up a similar one soon.

Geocache Description:

This is an easy to find Travel Bug only cache located in a rest stop on I77 as you come South from Charlotte, NC.

It is a Travel Bug only cache which is set up as a convenient place to exchange TBs or to drop off one so that someone else may move it on toward its goal. It is a fairly small container and it may not hold large travel bugs. There is little extra room for other goodies so there are no exchange items. Feel free to visit and record your find, but do not take a travel bug if you don't have one to exchange - unless there are at least 3 bugs resting there. The directions for this "motel" are simple:
1. Anyone can log this cache - log your first visit to the motel as a "Found" and any subsequent visits to drop off or pick up travel bugs as a "Note".
2. All visitors are asked to sign the log in the cache and to be sure to identify what TB(s) were taken and left.
3. To take a TB, you must leave a TB - UNLESS there are 3 or more bugs resting, then you may take one to move it on, but if there are only 1 or 2 bugs, then you must leave one to take one. It is so sad to find a TB Motel empty.
4. You may of course drop off a TB and not take anything or you may leave more TBs than you take.
5. If you take a TB from the cache, log your find online, both on the cache page and on the Track Travel Bug page and do not put the TB number in either of your logs.
6. Please do not take a TB if you do not plan to log that TB online and move it on toward its destination.
7. If you take or leave a TB in the cache, be sure to check that TB in or out when you log your find on the cache page - it gets real scary when a travel bug just appears or disappears without a trace.

And finally, please be stealthy in your search and find - this is a busy area - and BE CAREFUL WHEN RETURNING THE CACHE TO ITS HIDING PLACE SO THAT MUGGLES, OR THE WORKMEN WHO KEEP THE AREA SO NEAT WON'T FIND IT BY MISTAKE.
