Geocache Description:

Cache is a 1.5 Litre Lock & Lock Container. There are several Stiles / Gates to negotiate, Beware the Fairies!

This Cache is situated just of the Trail which was the original Drovers route, then a Military Road built by Gen George Wade.

There are an estimated 3080 species of Fungi that occur in the Enochdhu Area.

Just to the North West is the Kindrogan Field Studies Centre, which is run by the Field Studies Council which is a pioneering educational charity committed to bringing environmental understanding to all. Worth a Visit.

Inspired by the amount of Fungi in the area and an Email from Allieballie and her first Cache, please try and put a Mushroom (Fungi) Joke in the log.

Did you hear about the fungus and the alga?
.....they took a lichen to each other.

Oh! and watch out for the Fairies as this Trail leads to the Glen of Fairies.......There around!!

Fairyland’s location is vague, but it seems usually to be
underground and entered through some fairy knowe (hillock).

The Queen of Elfhame, mounted on her milk—white steed,
comes out now and again to cast her spells, and on moonshiny
nights the fairies would dance in a ring. “Fairy rings,”
dark green and sprinkled with toadstools, still serve to
show where their feet had danced.

This Cache location was picked by Master Cameron Taylor (5) a believer of Fairies, Like Robert Burns he has been told tales concerning deils, ghosts, fairies, brownies, witches, warlocks, spunkies, kelpies, elf-candles, dead-lights, wraiths, apparitions, cantraips, giants, enchanted towers, dragons and other trumpery, for me I can see them!
