Geocache Description:

An easy, though perhaps sometimes frustrating multi cache set on the lower Blue Mountains.

This is an easyish multi-point cache set in a beautiful part of the lower Blue Mountains with 3 spots to visit and some simple maths to do. The 3 WP's provide some inspiring views, especially if you visit in the late afternoon when the sun is not so harsh. So, bring your camera.

Please note, the maths and instructions have changed to suit a more accurate set of co-ords.

The waypoint above is the carpark which is roughly in the middle of all the action.

WP1:
33' 46.734
150' 37.791
* At this lookout you will find a power pole. On this pole is a 3 digit number, this 3 digit number = B

WP2:
33' 46.742
150' 37.777
* At this lookout, you will need to count the number of vertical poles holding the safety fence up = Z
* Also at this spot, is a smooth barked gum tree with an expansive root system, the number of trunks = Y
* Multiply Z x Y = A

WP3:
33' 46.746
150' 37.608
* At this lookout, you will find secreted away a natural type waypoint with a number attached, this number = C

Got all the numbers?

Good, now Multiply A x C = D

On your travels if you followed the walking track, did you notice a large Green & brown structure? Count the number of tables = E

By now, after that nice walk, some awesome views and some simple maths you should have a few numbers left over.... B, E & D.

To get to the final cache, which is not that far away, you need to do the final easy maths...

GZ: 33' 46.(D+B)+E
150' 37.B+4

The cache is of the 1.5 ltr rectangular kind and is not too high, packed full of goodies of course so smallish or flat type swaps would probably be best. Please be sure to place both the cache and WP3 back the way you found them. You can be seen from a number of directions when standing at GZ, so, be patient and try not to be seen.

As previously stated, early evening or early mornings will provide the best views, and believe me, the views are worth the short walk. Tell me you did not leave the camera in the car!

Come visit the Blue Mountains, make a day trip out of it, there are plenty of caches to do and places to visit.
