Take Thumb Butte Rd. out of Prescott until it turns into a well-maintained dirt road. Park at the following coordinates: N 34 33.013, W 112 31.585. The cache is located about 0.1 mile up the Trail.
There is also a lovely picnic area and campsite nearby, with many trails around and up Thumb Butte. (There is a $2 use fee for the picnic area.) The cache is an ammo case which originally contained: Walt Disney World Mickey TB, Yellow Jeep TB,Disney pins, Mini Walkman radio,Mickey stickers, Daisy Duck doll,Spongebob Squarepants, Magic 8-ball,Mini wildlife jigsaw puzzle, Mini football,Mini basketball, Mini yo-yo,The cache also contains a camera. Please let us know when there are just a few pictures left.
