Cache is in Johnson Park in Liverpool, NY. This cache is dedicated to all of those cachers who just want an easy, lunch time cache (like me)!
History:"Johnson Park has been the center of community activities in Liverpool since settlement began in the early 1800's. When the future village was laid out within the Onondaga Salt Reservation, the four parks known as Johnson, Memorial (previously Lamb), Washington, Grandy (formally the "Village Green") and two other green areas were included, although not formally named. Johnson Park's namesake was a prominent local builder, but no record exists to pinpoint the date of its naming. James Johnson was active in community affairs in the early and mid 1800's, and his home at Second Street and Vine overlooked the park." -Ione C. Masters-
The cache is hidden up, so it is winter accessible. It is in a 35mm film canister.
