Geocache Description:

level terrain, approx 1/3 mile max out and back, longer to explore the marsh

Drummer Boy Park (off RteA): there is a playground for small children on the grounds as well as open fields for throwing a ball or frisbee; picnic tables; not too many trees to menace your kite. a historic windmill (used to power a salt works) and historic house are on premises. the town band plays at 6 pm Sunday evenings through the summer.

you can go out onto North into / onto the marsh at low tide and see fiddler crabs in the banks of the meandering tidal streams and get a nice view of the marsh, small dunes, and Bay beyond. there are a few trails down through the tall marsh grasses: scent heaven for your dog, it appears!
