Son of Salmon Creek I Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Old Dog: Well - it was a marvelous hiding spot, close to parking for those who didn't want to walk but at the beginning of a trail for those that did and almost always surrounded by muggies - but after two years, it finally disappeared. Time to start a new series in new locations.

Geocache Description:

Just off Salmon Creek Trail - busy area.

The three mile Salmon Creek Trail running from just west of I-5 to NW 36 Ave has always been a favorite of ours and was the location for one of my first cache finds. Salmon Creek Cache is now archived so these three caches: Son of Salmon Creek I, II, and III are dedicated to it. All three are Rubbermaid containers with a bit of paint splashed on the lid.You can enter the trail from several locations but the shortest walk will be from the VGSA parking lot just west of the park off 117th Street. This container is well hidden in a very obvious cache location just 100 feet from the edge of the closest parking lot. The biggest problem here will be to get into the cache without being observed because this is a very busy location. Please be discrete.
