Just another micro in Middletown
For this one The GeoGnomes teamed up with Kingsting for a joint hide. We found a great location with a view of parts of the airport and TMI. This is a decent place to watch planes take off too. The container is similar to an M&Ms tube with a twist. There's a log and pencil stub inside. You can park at the nearby Olmstead Plaza or at a little pull-off spot about 500 feet from the location. (Don't park here if the local authorities are running a speed trap.) The container fits snug into it's location and if the previous finder doesn't put it back just right, you may need a stick to poke it out. There is no bushwacking involved (Unless you need to find a stick.) and no reason to go out in the street. There is also a survey marker very close to this spot. (Do benchmark hunters like these?)
