Colonel Jacob Stroud was here a long time ago. What used to be part of the Dansbury Mission is now a graveyard.
These people lived and died in the 1700s-1800s which makes this a very interesting area if your cup of tea is graveyards. We find the history here insatiable! Why Colonel Jacob Stroud? He's the founder of East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Bring a pencil and nothing to trade. This would have been a letterbox except no ink pad will fit into the hidey-hole.
AS WITH ALL CACHES IN THE WILD, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY SCENTED ITEMS IN THE CACHE. ANIMALS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO TEAR APART OUR CACHES JUST FOR A BIT OF PERFUME!
