Vlinkenbroek Multi-Cache

English: The Vlinkenbroek cache guides you trough the beautiful surroundings of Boukoul, a nice little town near
Swalmen (NL). It’s about 4 kilometres over unpaved forest tracks and a short distance on paved road.

Deutsch: De Vlinkenbroek cache führt euch durch die schöne Natur von Boukoul, ein idyllischer Ort in der Nähe von Swalmen (NL). De Weg ist ungefähr 4 kilometer lang über Waldwege und ein kleines Stück über ein asphaltierter Feldweg.

Vertrek vanaf de parkeerplaats in ZZO richting.
Wat is het huisnummer van de sportkantine, tel de cijfers bij elkaar op. (A).
Tel de cijfers van het nummer van de brandkraan aan de linkerzijde bij elkaar op (B).

WP2 (N051°12,6624 / E006°2,8813)
Je loopt nu door het Vlinkenbroek.
Welk Knooppunt tref je aan op het einde van het zandpad (C) is het eerste en (D) het tweede cijfer .

WP3 (N051°12,2456 / E006°2,c2cc)
Je verlaat de verharde weg en vervolgt je weg op het zandpad. In de velden aan de linkerzijde tref je geregeld reeën aan.
Wat is het nummer van de elektriciteitsmast aan je rechterzijde, tel de cijfers bij elkaar op (E)

WP4 (N051°12,e425 / E006°3,a045)
Dit waypoint mag je niet missen. Je loopt het mooie bos de Boeshei in.

WP5 (N051°12,2c0b / E006°3,a40c)
Vervolg het pad in oostelijke richting. Aan het einde van het pad tref je een zandheuvel aan.

WP6 (N051°12,e2a5 / E006°3,2ced)
Klim over de zandheuvel heen en vervolg het pad in zuid-oostelijke richting. Aan de rechterzijde van het pad liggen de resten van een historisch belangrijke kasteelboerderij.

In welk jaar werden de Karthuizers van Roermond eigenaar van deze boerderij. Omdat vandalen he bordje hebben weggehaald geven we je deze cijfers kado. 2de cijfer (F=5) en 3de cijfer (G=4).

Als je deze cache ’s zomers loopt heb je mazzel. Bosbessen vers van het land of verwerkt in heerlijke bosbessentaart met verse koffie. Je bent nu halverwege dus wat houdt je tegen om een rustpauze in te lassen.

WP9 (N051°12,g02f / E006°e,af0a)
Hier begint een dubbel historisch pad. De van oorsprong verharde weg is al door de Romeinen aangelegd en werd later een belangrijke handelsweg tussen Vlodrop en Kessel.

De weg is tevens een ruiterpad. Welk nummer heeft het pad in de richting die je loopt (H).
Aan de linker zijde tref je een plaquette aan. Hoe breed was de oorspronkelijke Romeinse weg (X).

Het ruiterpad heeft drie verschillende nummers voor elke richting. Tel de hoogste twee nummers op (I).

WP11 (N051°12,b0ef / E006°3,fbe4)
Een heus knooppunt van zandpaden. Je moet het pad kiezen dat in NW richting het bos in gaat.

WP12 (N051°12,bi16 / E006°3,g7xd)
Een lichting verscholen in het bos. Als je nog energie over hebt kun je die hier kwijt op de hindernissen.

Leave the parking in SSE direction.
What is the number of the sporting accommodation. Add both numbers (A).
On the left side you find a fire plug, add the numbers (B). 

WP2 (N051°12,6624 / E006°2,8813)
Now you're walking in the Vlinkenbroek forest.
What is the number of the intersection at the end of the path. First (C) and second (D). weede cijfer .

WP3 (N051°12,2456 / E006°2,c2cc)
Now you leave the paved road and continue on the track. In the field on your left hand you might see a roe.
What is the number of the electricity post on the right hand. Add the numbers (E).

Don't miss this waypoint. Now you enter the Boeshei forest.

WP5 (N051°12,2c0b / E006°3,a40c)
Follow the path to the east. At the end of the path you find a sand hill.

WP6 (N051°12,e2a5 / E006°3,2ced)
Climb the sand hill and proceed on the path to the east. At you right hand you find the remains of an important historical farm castle. 
In which year, the Karthuizers of Roermond became the owners of this castle. Due to vandalisme the sign is gone, so we give you the numbers. Second number (F=5) and third (G=4).

You're lucky if you walk this cache in the summer. You can eat the blackberries almost directly from the fields or used up in delicious blackberry cake.
This is half way the route, so what stops you to have a nice break here.

WP9 (N051°12,g02f / E006°e,af0a)
A double historical path. This originally paved track was made by the Romans and later turned into an important trade route from Vlodrop to Kessel.
This track also is a bridle-path. What is the number of the track in the direction you're walking it (H)?
On you're left hand you find a sign attached to a stem. How wide was the original Roman track in metres (X).

This bridle-path has a three different numbers for each direction. Add the highest two path numbers (i).

WP11 (N051°12,b0ef / E006°3,fbe4)
A real intersection of sandy paths. Follow the one heading north west into the forest.

WP12 (N051°12,bi16 / E006°3,g7xd)
An open spot hidden in the woods. If you still have a lot of energy, you can loose it on the bars.
