Geocache Description:

The name of the cache refers to the location where a historical battle took place between Abdullah bin Faisal (uncle of King Abdulaziz) and Bin Rashid from Ha'il in the north. The two were rivals trying to seize control of the Najd region. The battle took place in 1884 and was won by Bin Rashid signifying the end of the second state of Al-Saud house few years later. My great grandfather fought alongside with Bin Saud and was killed in that battle. Exact location of the battle field is not clear to me and I've been looking into references which are scarce and sketchy at best. The cache site is less than 2 hours drive from Riyadh. It can be reached from Majmaah in the north or Shaqra in the south.
