We adopted this cache from Cuautemoc. We wanted to keep this one going. Right after we adopted the cache the container was stolen twice. There is currently construction very close by. We will monitor this one and if things slow down, we will add another full sized container that we will custom build for this old cache. For now, just walk down the trail and claim your old smiley. You can park close by the trailhead but please do not get lazy and park where it is prohibited. The photo to the right shows the best entrance to the trail.
This is a google map overview. The area marked new construction is a new neighborhood. Try and use stealth if you go during the daytime as a few containers have gone missing and we want to keep this old one going. I have a new regular sized container which I will put out very soon to replace the temporary one currently in place. Please post if the container goes missing again so we can assess the viability of the future life of this oldie.
The temporary container is a prescription bottle with a simple log. Don't fret, I have an ammo can just waiting to take its place.
