Take the ferry to Anderson Isle,
By bike or car, whichever's your style.
Go up the hill and left 'round the bend,
Past the General Store the road will then wend.
From Ekenstam-Johnson to Sandberg go right.
At the end of Sandburg a sign is in sight.
A left on Claussen will take you where
A park so close you're almost there.
Your destination is Andy's Marine Park.
Do not attempt this geocache at all after dark.
This cache is accessible regardless the tide,
It's a three quarter mile hike to this letterbox hide.
Start your walk at the trailhead
near the commemorative boulder,
If you like, take a picnic
And some water in a holder.
Take the trail past "Scouler's Willow" and then the "Sword Fern",
Keep following the path through its twists and its turns.
Soon you will have a decision to make,
Either one is good, make no mistake.
Go left if you have little ones hiking with you,
Go right for a bit more scenic view.
When you reach the fork at the stairs' lower end
Find the sign with the arrow and go where it sends.
Now follow the path down the steps to the sand.
Soon the cache will be within your hand.
From the end of the dock it's about 165 degrees,
Follow the wood on the beach that used to be trees.
Stop very soon at the giant Medussa head,
You'll find what you seek on the sand that you tread.
Look on the south side of the monster's base.
Check under the log, be careful to replace.
One logbook is for stamping and the other for notes,
PLEASE don't take stamp or stamp pad home in your totes.
We hope you enjoyed "Sand Dollar Beach"
It's a slice of Paradise within easy reach.
