There are no phones here to call home with, so BYO. You can approach the Dam from either below or above. According to my maps, the approach from above looks much easier and a littler shorter. However, for an enjoyable walk, I can recommend the approach from below, (although at the time of placement, the first 200 metres of the track was wet).
