On the road to Burning Man! Cache on your way to the celebration!
Cache is an 8x4 plastic coffee can, hidden just outside the Indian reservation boundary. Look for the tufa rocks which were formed thousands of years ago when the area was part of Lake Lahonton, a tropical inland ocean. The rocks are calcium carbonate and invertebrate fossils formed as the lake receded.
In additon to log book, original cache contents in the spirit of Burning Man are: Burning Man 2004 themed Christmas ornament & note cards; body jewels; temporary tatoos, corncob pipe, Keep Tahoe Blue bumper sticker, and Burning Man 2004 TB wanting to explore with a fellow traveler!
