Cache is located just off the nature trail at Camp Zerbe in Oswego County.
This is our first placed cache!!! It is in Camp Zerbe in Oswego County. Camp Zerbe is 8 miles east of the Mexico Exit off Rt. 81. If you have never been to Camp Zerbe it is a nice little county park with a nature trail, large pond with a picnic area. It is free to park and visit.The cache is located just off the nature trail .28th of a mile from the parking lot.Most of the trail is a manmade path with a base of wood chips. The last portion is off the trail but under pine trees with very little vegetation to walk through.Cache contents start with a logbook, some kids items, a couple CDs from a popular local band and a magnifying glass.
Cache can be accessed in the winter with snowshoes or x-country skis if there is snow.
