Geocache Description:

This very easy cache is an ammo box just off a path in a small thick section of trees. The trees and the adjoining swamp are easy to get to as they are surrounded by road and mowed lawn. The campus itself is surrounded by farmland.

Elim Bible Institute is the main attraction in the little hicktown of Lima, NY. The small (very small) campus is located at the previous site of the Genesee Wesleyan Seminary founded in the 1800s. In Elim's early days in the early 1900s much of the campus was farmland. This land was worked by our late founder Ivan Q. Spencer. Today the terrain of the school is mostly mowed grass.

The cache is located on the far side of the campus near Dalton Rd. in a small patch of woods with a swamp.

(Update April 2005: I have noticed some old barbed wire laying on the ground near the cache. I guess it is from some fence that used to exist on the campus. The one or two strands that are left won't get in your way at all. Just keeping everyone safe!)
