Geocache Description:

This cache requires only a short easy walk in order to facilitate swapping travel bugs.

Located at Cedar Lakes State Recreation Center about 3 miles north of Exit 132 of I-77 at Fairplain, WV and less than 2 miles southeast of Ripley, WV on Cedar Lakes Road. You can park in a small parking area at N 38 47.741 W 081 40.850. From here go up the small earthen dam and start around the left to a small set of steps. The cache is not far from there. This area at times has considerable muggle traffic. Please re-hide the cache as well as or better than you found it.

This geocache is designed to allow locals and passers-by a convenient and easy location to drop off and pick up travel bugs with the hopes that another cacher can help these travel bugs on their journey.

Please note that this is not a conventional geocache, there are no trinkets to swap, just travel bugs and a logbook. Please take a travel bug if you can help it on its journey and work towards accomplishing its goal.

In order for the travel bug's web page to monitor its progress please go to the travel bug's web site using its tracking number and log that you have picked it up. Then when you place it into another cache log it on that cache page.

Reasons for a bug hotel:
1.You have a new bug to release and want a good place to start it off.
2.You picked up a bug and realize you cannot help it toward its goal.
3.You are about to travel and want to grab a bug to help it on its journey.
4.You are in from out-of-town and want an easy pickup/dropoff spot.
5.You have held a bug for a while and need to move it along.
